What We Have to Offer

United Rheumatology offers an expanding portfolio of purchasing, practice management, and data products and services, built specifically for independent rheumatologists.

Group Purchasing

UR-GPO provides competitive pricing on medications and materials used by rheumatologists, from specialty biologics and disposables to office supplies and capital equipment.

Practice Assessment

Independent practices have unique challenges. UR has a network of seasoned rheumatology practice administrators that will travel to your practice and observe your administrative workflows and processes, free of charge. Each assessment concludes with a comprehensive analysis, including ideas for improvement.

Contracting Support

Optimizing your payer contracts is crucial.   United Rheumatology’s approach to contracting is strategically focused and customized to your practice and service area. We do not negotiate or interact with your payer(s); rather we review, analyze, and benchmark your data.

MIPS Support and Data Registry

UREQA, United Rheumatology’s Qualified Clinical Data Registry*, allows our members to satisfy MIPS reporting requirements. UREQA includes five rheumatology-specific quality measures that are not available for reporting through any other registry.

* UREQA and UREQA QCDR measures have been approved by CMS for MIPS reporting in 2018, and are available for viewing on our website.

e-Prescribing and Prior Authorization Tools

UR-Rx is an e-prescribing tool for pharmacy-benefit specialty drugs. With UR-Rx, providers can follow a prescription from send to fill, providing opportunities to manage patient compliance and enhance quality. UR-Rx can assist with PAs freeing your staff to focus on patients and not paper.

Clinical Pathways

United Rheumatology’s copyrighted Clinical Pathways memorialize best practices for rheumatologists. The pathways were created by our own members, with an emphasis on enabling the provision of high quality, cost effective care in the community setting.

TSI Healthcare

TSI Healthcare provides support and sales for the NextGen practice management and electronic medical records technology. When a United Rheumatology member becomes a new TSI customer, TSI will provide a discount off the prevailing TSI Healthcare pricing. Existing TSI Healthcare customers also receive additional benefits based on their UR membership. Please speak with your Member Solutions Representative for explanation of the discounts and terms that apply.

Physician and APC Recruitment

Fidelis Partners is UR’s preferred search firm that will assist UR members in recruiting physicians and advanced practice clinicians to their practices. UR members receive over a 20% discount per hire over standard recruitment pricing.

In-Practice Serology Lab

Our preferred in-office turnkey lab partner, TheraTest, offers rheumatology practices a turn-key, CLIA-compliant serology lab. There is no set-up charge and UR members are grandfathered in to 2017 pricing. In addition, UR members will receive access to TheraTest’s Octopus Middleware interface at no additional charge.

Provista

The Employee Savings by Provista program is available at no cost to Provista customers and their employees. The program’s name-brand special offers and discounts are applicable to the way people live – from wireless phone service and computers to entertainment and travel. With more than 300,000 offers and easy mobile access, there’s always a way to save.

Networking Opportunities

United Rheumatology hosts two national meetings per year, providing a chance to connect with colleagues, share insights, and attend lectures reviewing the latest inpatient care, practice management, and health policy.

Policy Updates and Advocacy

UR sends its members a daily newsletter summarizing the most important legislative and policy news impacting rheumatology. We are actively working with both public and private payers to develop payment models that support access to care and the sustainability of autonomous practice.
